Think I got anyone's attention? ;-)

For the past few months I've been looking for crossover fics, more in specific Spike crossovers.
With this I do not mean crossovers in which Spike plays a small part but that mainly focus on the other characters. I mean a crossover that actually puts Spike centerplace.

Yes, foolish hope, there's way too few of those out there.
For some weird reason, most Buffy-crossovers seem to be either focussed on the scoobies as a group, or they're focussed on Willow, Xander or Dawn.
Now I don't so much mind the first kind, as long as it fits canon, or is clear out B/S or S/A.(which actually is canon as far as I'm concerned*g*)

I don't have any interest in Willow (other than my dislike against her), I like Dawn and Xander ok, but not as main chars in a fic and I really really really want to see a crossover focussing on Spike that does not turn him evil or ooc.

I want to see Spike meeting Methos, I want Spike meeting Joan of JoA, I want Spike getting in trouble with the CSI team (any which one of them), actually, I have a real liking for crossovers of Buffy, HL and/or any copshows. Hell, cross him over with (almost) any show you like and I'll be happy.

I bloody well have had this urge for months now and the pickings have been extremely slim.

So, seeing as how I'm getting desperate.
I'm willing to give a two month paid lj account (or extra icons if you've already got a paid account) to the first three vollunteers willing to write me a Spike crossover that's either S/A, S/B or that pairs Spike with a char from the crossed over series.

In order to qualify, the fic has to be over 1.000 words (yes I'm greedy), can't simply be a PWP and has to have Spike as a good guy.
I prefer plot heavy fics, love both het and slash and would definitely not mind h/c fics or fics that deal with dark issues. (as long as Spike, Buffy and Angel get out of it alive, or unalive)
No charbashing please.

And oh yes if the fic written crosses over with Joan of Arcadia or Dead like me I'd be eternally grateful and might add a bonus.

I offer to make icons, write drabbles, or some other request for anyone else that either gives me a fic, or gives me the link to a fic.
Anyone, pretty please?


PS: if you don't manage to be one of the first three, but I really like the fic, I might pay for the icons or paid lj-time anyway*eg*
(just had to limit the number since I'm on a budget)

Any particular CSI leanings? I'm partial to Las Vegas myself, I don't do anything but plot-heavy and epic-type fic, am currently stone-walled on my WIPs and looking for something new to tempt the Muse out of hiding.

Not in particular, I just like the idea of Spike meeting intelligent cops for a change.
(for some reason the cops on most fantasy/sci fi shows seem to be rather stupid, unless the show is about cops. I always thought it'd be more interesting for the heroes to have to deal with cops that actually have a brain for a change)

Dear god... **kicks bunny away from ankles** Not that I don't have a bunch on my plate at the moment, but how does a S/B crossover with Beauty and the Beast strike you? Vincent/Catherine and Spike/Buffy. Might take awhile - have a nice Williamficathon piece to do, then a fractured fairytale piece... my own WIPs... ARGH!!!! Why do I do this to myself?

Don't think I haven't saved this to my hard drive already... just in case.

And I have the perfect, inexpensive bribe... finish Prisoner with a happy Spuffy ending. My heart is aching for the boy, all fucked up as he is now. Or write me something pretty later on. Trust me, money is always an issue and there are ways around it. **grins**

Well I was actually planning on B/S/A (I know, I don't even always like Angel*g*, but the poor boy was so lonely on his own ;-) )

My favorite OT3 - so yes, I would say it would do nicely. As long as Spike gets cuddled and coddled... and never, ever gets near a false tail ever again. **shudders**

I have a recommendation, but it's not exactly what you're asking for, unfortunately, so I apologize in advance for that. I don't read many crossovers--generally not my thing--and I mostly read S/B, but I really enjoyed Kamikaze by Lesley. It's a crossover with Alias with a Spike/Syd pairing and it totally works. The Spike characterization is great and there's lots of action and adventure and other good plotty stuff.

I've been planning an S/A 'Lost' crossover - don't know if you like 'Lost', or when I'm going to get around to it though since I'm bogged down in homework lately.

Well I've never even watched Lost, but since I learned about Buffy through Buffy/HL crossovers, go for it...*g*

I do watch Lost, Smallville, Davinci's Inquest (what's that, you say? Canadian crime show better than any of the US ones - except technically CSI is a Canadian production too, being Alliance Atlantis) but I digress.

Also lover of many of the classic shows, X-Files being a biggie.

Planting Plot bunnies in my head...I'm leaning towards doing that S/Methos cross but some how Shea keeps sneaking in...she has a thing for big bads with a soft center... I'll see if I'll drabble some of it just to see how it turns out.
