I've decided to finally go on and do it.

Yes nice people, at the ripe age of 27 I have finally decided to move out of my mother's place.
I'm going to live on my own. (sharing a house with two other women, to cut the costs, but still)

The cost is decent, heating and electricity included and it's close enough, so I won't have to make any major differences in my getting to work.

I'm most likely moving the 1st of October. I'm now planning to get boxes to load stuff up already, so I don't have to do everything at the last minute.

In case you hadn't noticed, I'm currently jumping up and down in excitement. (well not literally, since the floor would crack if I did that too often, but still, utterly exited)

The new house has three bedrooms, a potential livingroom for me and the other renter, one main living room, a nice kitchen, a big bathroom, a washingroom, a garden and even a dog and a cat.
Yani (the dog) seems very personable, once he gets over his shyness, so that's more than ok, and the cat is young and rather playfull, which is always fun.

So yes, I'm growing up. See me, all grown up and ready to move out. I'm happy. :-)

Whee how exciting for you! I always wonder what it must be like to be 27 and fancy free. I'll be 29 here in a couple weeks and I have two girlies, one who will be ten in a couple weeks, I've got hubby and house payments and such. It just boggles the mind to think of a time when I didn't have kids (that would be high school, lol). The nice bit is though, in another 10 years I'll have no kids at home and finally get to travel and such. Wheee.

Good luck with your move!

Congratulations on finding a place! It sounds like a move you're ready to make.

When I first started living with other people who were not my family, I found that the hardest thing was working out chores. Me and my then roommates were all used to Mom either doing the work or ordering us to do it, and it was hard for all of us to make agreements about who would clean what when because we weren't used to talking about stuff like that. It was definitely a learning process.

It sounds like a really nice house. Go team you!
