I liked the fact that this has been happening for ten months and the doctor wasn't aware of it earlier. Sure, Jackie could have mentioned something to Rose earlier. But the point is, things can happen that the doctor doesn't get involved with.
I like that.
That and the idea of Jackie pointing out that there's nothing wrong with working in a shop.
I'm odd that way, but I liked working in a shop and I find it annoying when being a shopgirl is seen as something bad/boring/inconsequential...
But then again, I'm a boring person*eg*
And oh yes, moral highground :-)
