I'm gone
to the trouble
I've gone to the zone
I've gone to the place where everyone's down.

I'm shaking and reaping
holding what's mine
I'm breaking and tearing
and nothing lets me down.

Holding brightness
holding heart
White as snow
and red as dawn.

I'm holding and reaping
the gifts of today
for tomorow is bitter and
a year earned astray.
