liliaethI'd like to share a post from someone I follow on tumblr, got her permission to post it on lj.
It's basically an explanation for why so many of us who don't ship Sterek have so much issues with the Sterek shipping side of fandom. And why so many people who don't ship Sterek tend to leave fandom...
I'd advise people to start with reading her original post, and then come back to this post to read her response to one of the people who just refuse to get it, even when they're shown the proof.
For the record, I'm not trying to cause wank, I'm just trying to show this because as emotional as she gets, she explains better why so many of us feel so utterly unwelcome in Teen Wolf fandom.

I'm not really in Teen Wolf fandom anyway, but I do watch it and like it quite a lot. I'd read fic, but that's where the overabundance of Stiles/Derek makes itself known, too. I just don't actually get why that is a good pairing. I don't dislike either Stiles or Derek, but there is no way those two, with the personalities they have on the show, would ever get together.
