Right now, I fucking love Adobe.

Don't remember if I mentioned this here before, but last month I bought myself an adobe photoshop. Only when I got the serial for the download I realized I made the very stupid mistake of buying the Mac version instead of the one for windows.

Now the company I bought it from, claimed they couldn't do anything since well... it was a download instead of a boxed version. After about a month of bemoaning my mistake, I looked up on google if there was a way to use the mac version on a windows computer and one of the answers was apparently that you can contact adobe for a change in platform.

Which I did :-)

They gave me a new serial and are going to send me the DVD later.

So now I have Photoshop CS6, the extended edition.

Yay for Adobe.

I'm very happy with Adobe, too. They contacted me two years ago or so, because they were following the trail of some software pirate and were suspecting the ancient PS7 I was using was pirated. (I had bought it for only 50 Marks but it was marked as an OEM verson, so at the time I figured that's why it was so cheap. Later I learned that OEM of PS doesn't exist, so I figured immediately their suspicions were probably right.)

They offered me to send them my CD to check if it was real, and if it turned out fake they would keep it and I'd have to delete it off my computer, but they would offer me CS4 for a super discount.

So now I have CS4, completely legal and much better than my previous verson, for a very good price. Must say, they were more than fair.

I've been using Acrobat (the software for making PDFs, not just the reader) for a good few years now, it's about the one program that has never given me any problems, and despite the fact I'm using an extremely old version they still roll out occasional updates. I have nothing but praise.

That's pretty awesome. :) I wish I could afford Adobe Photoshop. I've only got the crappy Photoshop Elements on my laptop. :P I do have Corel Paint Shop Pro and while it's not as extensive as Photoshop I've found ways to do some of the things that Photoshop does (like Selective Color...ugh always bugs me when a tutorial I like uses that! lol).
