Why isn't anyone on my friendslist talking about 'In the Flesh'.

This show is one the best things to come to television in the past few years, yet I had to go to Tumblr of all places to find people who are excited about it. I don't like Tumblr, please come talk about this amazing show with me, pretty please?

Dominic Mitchell, the writer and creator of the show, when asked about Kieren and Rick

Kieren has a close friendship with Amy (introduced in episode two) and an almost romantic one with his friend Rick. Was that ambiguity intentional?

That was totally intentional. He’s not gay but he’s not straight. He’s more in love with the person than the gender. Rick is very uncomfortable with his relationship with Kieren. I don’t think it got to the point of having sex but it was maybe going that way and he couldn’t handle it. What’s so great about horror and fantasy is that you can talk about gender politics and identity freely.

I looked it up and it sounds cool but I can't watch the eps because I'm not in the UK. :(

Is there another place to find them besides the BBC website? Is the show on US tv?

it's a great show, I just love Kieran, and it's nice to have a show with strong female characters with diverse personalities.

seriously, it's an awesome show. The only bad thing about it, is that sunday's ep is already the last one. Let's just hope that the creator gets the green light for a second series.

I guess I'm just so used to my friendlist giving well thought out reviews on shows I like, that it surprised me that no one seems to be doing so for this one.

I think that as it took Being Human's spot, a lot of people who would otherwise do that are still in the BH mourning period and that is affecting how much they are covering the replacement show.

which is a sad thing, because if not enough people are talking about the show, then the BBC might not give them a second series. And this is a show that definitely deserves one.

Another factor might well be that the show is rumoured to be a dead before it started so people are not keen to attach.
