Oh man, I'm going to be in so much money trouble...

But I just bought Adobe CS6, aka the latest photoshop since I need it for class. Which means that I'll finally be able to actually do my assignments from class in the right kind of PS. It also means of course that I'll be able to do more art, which yay.

Now if only hopefully that money on my account really was meant for me and wasn't accidentally put there, because I have no idea why I suddenly had an 800€ refund on my account from my healthcare agency. (since they were the ones who said that my kliniplan wouldn't pay back on my specific operation...

The only thing I'm not sure of is whether or not I should ask them about it. I mean, no reason to ask for trouble, or to point it out if it was a mistake, right?

This might be a stupid question, but why did you have to buy CS6? Pretty much everybody I know uses cracked versions, unless they actually make any money of using it.

I tried to download it, but after the second version that I downloaded didn't work either, I gave up on it. Then I tried a CS4 copy that a classmate of mine had, which worked, until I tried to download a filter and suddenly the damn thing was saying I had two weeks left before I had to put in a working serial, because the version I had was already registered on two comps.

Anyway, the version I bought is a student/teachers version, which is cheaper. And with a bit of luck I can get more education checks, which ought to cut down the prize even more. (since I'm working, I'm entitled to 250E in education cheques a year from government subsidies. (you basically pay half the amount they're worth and then when you bring them in you get the money back. I already used 80€ of those this year for my classes. But I should still have 170€ left, which means I can get 85@ of them back. (the CS6 costed me 279€) So that's something at least.

Oh, yes, student versions are a lot cheaper, indeed. I was just worried that you spent a lot of money that you didn't really have to. Personally, I work with a cracked version of CS5 that works absolutely perfectly. Luckily, I have a tech savvy friend though to help me out with these things.
