My dislike of Jackson

Am I the only Teen Wolf fan who utterly cannot stand Jackson and would like to be rid of him as soon as possible.

I keep getting stunned at how popular Jackson seems to be in fanfic, when he's probably one of the most intolerable assholes on TV right now.

It's weird, when I see people hating on Allison, but at least she has depth and is played by a good actress, Jackson imo has none of that. And I don't go for characters, just cause they look pretty. Pretty does not redeem a character from shallowness.

At least when Cordelia was a bit of a bitch in s1-3 of Buffy, we were shown some redeeming qualities by the end of s1, Jackson has none of those. (and no, having issues with being adopted is not enough to redeem a jerk for me)

Well, I admitted on my post that I love him and all his assholish-ness. For me, it's not whether or not he's redeemable as much as how fun he is as a villain (especially sans supernatural powers). I can tell that they are trying to head toward changing him, but I hope they don't too soon, honestly.

I do agree that Jackson is a total jerk, but i still dont' want him off the show. I want to see where everything goes with him and what's going on with him being bitten and nothing's happening. He's a character i love to hate.

I don't really like Jackson either, but that's only because his character is very much an immature brat who thinks he's better than everyone else. Not sure where the show is heading with him, but hope it gets better.
