Swiss bus crash leaves 22 children, 6 adults dead

All of Belgium is still trying to cope with this. 22 children around the age of 12 dead, plus six of the adults accompanying them on their skitrip to Switzerland.

I don't even know anyone directly involved with this tragedy,and I'm still crying.

The annual skitrip is just this thing that a great part of the schools in Belgium have about once a year for all the kids from the last year of elementary school. You don't have to go, but if you don't, you end up spending the week, sitting in class, studying the stuff anyway and getting bored while your friends are having fun in Switzerland or Austria.

It's just this thing, and to think of those parents, getting ready to pick up their kids in the morning and then being called with this kind of news... It must be horrifying.

I'm sorry. I initially left my comment on the wrong post. It is absolutely dreadful. I'm just watching it on the news now. Awful. Those poor people.

When I read about it this morning, tears came to my eyes. It is unspeakably tragic. Those poor parents. Unimaginable grief.
