706 and Law Enforcement prompt meme

I'm well aware that there's already a prompt meme for 706, only that one's focus is different




As some of you might know, I have a well... obsession with the boys running into law enforcement and outside pov. Which as you can imagine makes me really really want to read fics focused on the episode 'Slash Fiction'.

So I figured, why not make a second prompt meme, based on this episode, only this time focusing on the evil doubles actions and what effect that would have on the boys.

In other words, Winchesters hunted by the cops, recognized by the population. Outside pov on meeting those horrifying Winchester brothers and cops finding out that they're still alive.

the boys hunted, what would have happened if they hadn't caught the doubles as quickly as they did...

And since I'm sure I'm not the only Winchesters vs cops fan out there, let's leave this prompt meme open to any meeting with Law Enforcement Agencies that the boys might have, either before or after this episode...

Crossovers are more than welcome. Just imagine the BAU put on the case of the Winchester murder spree, NCIS coming after them because one or more of the victims were marines. Hell, people from CSI or Homicice, or hell any show even remotely connected to cops, finding out that the Winchesters are still alive...

When the Winchesters got brought into prison, no one even dares to meet their eyes. Outside pov from either guards, fellow prisoners or even their cellmates

A young, green officer in a small town spots Sam (or Dean) Winchester walking around unfussed and very much alive. Repeatedly spots him. But he can't get anyone at the station, or at home, to believe him. It's an overactive imagination, it's a misguided hunger for glory, or obsession, or whatever. No one will listen.

Meanwhile, people are dying...

(Bonus if it doesn't end with the cop learning the power of love that Sam is one of the 'good guys'.)

An apocalypse rolls in while the Winchesters are in prison, and once it takes hold, the world's last priority is freeing criminals. Whatever's out there is going to get in, eventually, so they need to find a way to roam a little more freely and figure out how to defend themselves before it does. Even the few prison personnel taking refuge there are hella reluctant to lock themselves inside with a bunch of unsecured convicts, so getting the cells, pods, and pickets opened up is going to take more than a soulful look and a rousing speech.

Feel free to insert an apocalypse from any crossover universe that might apply, or rewind time and use the angels, or whatever. Any genre/pairing.

Once upon a time, the Winchesters were notorious for isolated, ritualized, serial-style murder and torture. They would not be considered an immediate threat unless they were cornered.

Gunning down an entire diner with wild abandon adds a whole other dimension to their MO, and now, if they are spotted, the best course of action is to evacuate the area and scramble a SWAT team.

Henriksen is back from the dead (for reasons to be determined and later revealed by the author; or not). He figures the best way to find out why is to track down the only experts on weird he's ever personally met. Thing is, the Winchesters were never easy to track, even when he had an entire task force at his disposal. Job like theirs, it just makes sense to keep a low profile. Then he turns on the 5 o'clock news...

Bonus if Henriksen recruits the help of other law enforcement officials he ran across during his manhunting days—you know, the ones who were uncooperative pains in his ass back then, given their sympathy to the Winchester cause. :D

Some civilian recognizes Sam and Dean, and decides to be a hero and take them down.

Mysteriously, Sam goes solo and gets sloppier and sloppier at covering his tracks, while Dean seems to have gotten a lot better at staying under the radar. Henriksen catches up with a frantic, wild-eyed Sam, but soon finds out that when Sam Winchester is on a mission, something as flimsy as a government task force isn't going to stop him. In fact, rapidly coming to the end of his rope, Sam decides that the brains behind said task force should be recruited to his cause. Dean's been missing for months now, Sam wants him back, and Victor is going to help out, whether he likes it or not. Cue uncomfortable bondage and Stockholm Syndrome and the road trip from hell.

Hostage!Henriksen and Powers!Sam would be love, but not the latter's not really necessary if you don't want to go there. Whether Sam shields him from the truth and lets Victor go/Victor escapes still believing the Winchesters are whacked-out serial killers by the end, or Sam rocks his world view earlier than in canon, is up to the author.
