Reverse bang claiming

Claiming for the Reverse Bang went fast this morning, really really fast.

I tried to make a quick claim this morning at work, using my phone, but by the time I got that far, I think there must have been over two hundred comments already.

Anyway, my first two picks were claimed before I got there, but i did manage to get my first choice in my second claiming attempt.

I really hope the artist will be ok with me, using her prompt for a sequel to a previous story of mine. I wrote this Victor Henriksen lives au a few years back, where the demons don't come for the boys in jus in bello. And I figure, since the pic is all about Victor on a case, and hunting, ithat it might be nice to make this a continuation of that one. Showing Victor becoming a Hunter after he tries to find out what happened in the first fic.

Still a bit sad taht I didn't get the Sam and Dean and a kid prompt, I was so hoping to do a 'Dean gets to raise Bobby John' fic for that one.

I hit "comment" as soon as the post showed up and I was still 45th! There were about eight I'd have been happy with so I'm happy with my first choice. I noticed only a few other people asked for it. I figured going "dark" would help as there are less authors willing to go that direction than those wanting happy/fluffy.

Glad you got one--I think some people are going to be left out. I'm glad I stayed up till 2:00 a.m.

Now I just have to find my stupid muse...

I'm just hoping for the artists sake, that all of them are picked in the initial claiming. There's nothing worse than seeing all those other pics getting picked within minutes, and having your own lone prompt still sitting there with no one wanting it.

I, unfortunately, was unable to be awake at 3 o'clock in the freakin' morning which was when claiming started in my neck of the woods. I'm so glad you got your choice and the Victor fic sounds awesome!

ah well, talked to my artist and she'd rather not have a sequel. So the fic's going to be either Victor/Lenore or Victor/Tamara, both of which would work fine in my humble opinion*g*
