Thundercats!

I just downloaded and watched the new Thundercats cartoon and I have to say, it was awesome.

They updated things, improved on the world building and characterization and made the action look amazing. And I for one can't wait to see more.



Instead of making Liono young and careless, they made him a gentle and caring young cat who gives a damn not just about his own people, but also about the treatment of other species.

The brotherly relationship between Tigra and Liono is fun and they really worked to deal with the family relationship between both them and their father.

The city of Thundara looks real, as if it's an actual place and there's genuine chemistry between Liono and Cheetarah.

Anyway, there's loads more great stuff in the series, but I for one really liked it.

I love that they used Mr. Kenney (the original Lion-o) as the voice of King Claudus. It worked so well! And Snarf! Oh, Snarf was so cute! And Wiley Kit and Kat seem more adorable too!

And Cheeterah and Lion-o always make me think of that Robot Chicken Thundercats skit. "She's still my special lady." XD

I really liked it too! I didn't get to see all of it though, so I'm hoping they replay it again soon. I like how they made it so much deeper and more complex with the worldbuilding and the twins look adorable, I can't wait to see more of them.
