Just saw a pic of a great dane, those dogs are huuuuuuuuuge.

Oddly enough I was more thinking personality wise than looks wise though.

I mean, I didn't make Dean a Rottweiler, just cause I think they're gorgeous dogs*eg*

I'd go with a Border Collie. They are extremely smart dogs AND they have long fur *g*

Mixed breed. Some German Shepherd, some Golden Retriever, some husky, some Great Dane. Just a mix of dogs, but sweet-eyed and long eared, no matter what, with a big bushy tail.

Or possibly an Irish wolfhound or a Caucasian Shepherd.

I see Sam as an Irish Wolfhound. They are the largest of all dogs, but have gentle natures. They are hunting dogs and are very smart. Hunting is in their blood, so they need lots of room to roam. They love their families but have an independent nature. They are not really watch dogs, since they are so friendly, but they are fierce and deadly protectors if they sense any ill will toward their family.
