Seriously, still such a great book. The JJJ scene was the best ever. I love that Ultimate!Jonah is on Peter's side. Though I am a bit worried by the arc title. Death? Really?
You can say whatever you want about Bendis inability to write superhero team books, but he does know how to write down to earth heroes.
His Peter feels young, but at the same time, he's got the maturity and heroism that Spider-Man ought to have.
I don't think there's many things that could be more awesome than Jonah offering Peter a scholarship fun and Peter refusing because he wants to earn his own way. And then just asking for his job back...
And that whole line of "I won't take advantage of it"
Also loved that bit where Jonah then tries to get something out of it, by wanting stories from Spider-Man's pov :-) It felt so Jonah like, still a good man, but a newspaperman to the core.
