As long as they tax it, why not? I personally wish they'd do more to discourage drinking alcohol, or smoking cigarettes, both of which are worse for peoples health and cause more deaths annually, than marijuana

Well, yeah. There are people who are extremely vulnerable to marijuana - particularly people with a genetic history of mental illness - and at the pharmacy I see quite a few young men who smoked large amounts of pot in their teens and are now on serious antipsychotics. But that's a far smaller number than the alcoholics in their 40s and 50s. I'd rather see pot sold legally with appropriate warnings and the money funnelled into mental health - and I don't drink, smoke or take any illegal drugs.

same for me, it's not that any kind of addictive substance whether it's drugs or alcohol, should be freely available, without warning. But making it illegal, just prevents people from having a better control over who can get their hands on it.
