I have had some pretty good news in regards to my goddaughter Ffion.


Yes, I'm talking about the cutest, sweetest, most adorable little one year old in existance.


It seems that her favorite toys include books.

My little goddaughter will be a big reader, at least if it depends on me and my sister. Just gave her some babyplaybooks for her first Sinterklaas and her hands went to them as quickly as she had the chance. Passing through the pages, actually looking at the drawings, even before she put it in her mouth.

I'm so happy. Can't wait till she's old enough to start learning her letters.

Awww!

Isn't it strange how these things develop so young? My little sister loved drawing since before she could speak and is now on an art course. I also remember giving a toy drum to my baby cousin Joshua when he was about one year old - and he adored it. I remarked that he was going to be a little musician and he's seven now and involved in drama groups, a choir, and is a born performer!

I am certain that Ffion will prove to be a very literate child :D

I sure hope so. I'm definitely going to provide the means for her to become a reader as she grows up. (wonder how long I have to wait before I can safely give her the first Harry Potter book ;-)
