Just came back from the movies.

I have now watched Iron Man I'm I'm afraid to say...




It totally rocked!!!!!!

The casting was excellent, I loved the plotline and sure you'll have loads of people nagging about plotholes and such nonsense, but as a casual viewer I didn't see any that stuck out to me so ... who cares.

I was worried beforehand that they'd spend too much time on Tony's playboy ways, but thankfully they didn't. I'm also happy that they didn't try and make an actual romantic relationship between Tony and Pepper. Those two work much better as friends, than they would as lovers.

Tony and Rhodey on the other hand... I loved every moment with those two.

In short, loved the movie, can't wait to see it again and buy the dvd.

Well, I just got back from seeing the movie, and remembered you had reviewed it; didn't want to be spoiled, so I'm commenting now. And I totally agree with you. The story worked! I didn't know anything about Tony Stark and Iron Man, but I really liked this movie, the characters, the special effects were excellent, the flying and the suit! Wow!!! Great start to the summer movie season!:D

I pretty much feel that Robert Downey Jr was pretty much born to play Tony Stark. :-)
