computer trouble

Why is it that computers and surrounding stuff always seem to know just when it's the worst moment to crash?

My modem decided to stop working on friday evening, right before the weekend *grumble*

As such I do not have internet access at home untill tuesday, at whatever time the guy from the internet company comes and fixes it.

Sending out of assignments for seasonalmarvels might be slightly delayed because of this.

Did you know that in the Kickapoo culture, they have different endings for words to indicate whether it is animate or inanimate, and the ending for the word "computer" indicates that it's actually animate--because something always goes wrong whenever you need it to work.
