The only reason I was reading it was Joss, so I'll have one less a month to pay for. I liked it much more than his Buffy comics. Then again, not really an X fan.
That's a pity really, I'm not much of an X-men reader, but I'm willing to start doing so finally, because of Ellis.
He's one of the best writers Marvel has, and his Kitty is probably the best version of the character any Marvel writer has ever written. He makes her adult and interesting, at least he did when he was writing Excalibur. It's because of how he wrote her and Pete Wisdom, that I'm still a Kitty/Pete shipper.
Ellis really is a much much better comic writer than Joss has ever had any hope of being.

Now I like Piotr, but putting him with Kitty after she's had Pete, is like putting Buffy with Xander after she's been with Spike.
