With all the stuff about banned journals, people are apparantly trying to show how manny fannish journals there are at fandom_counts

This is not an active community, but a com to count the number of journals with fannish interest. Active and non-active.

I just joined that community with my own journal, as well as every single RPG journal I own.

Now you might think sockpuppets, but in this situation I don't feel that's the case.

When people look at the number of journals that LJ is boasting about, they often forget that a great deal of those are non-active, or RPG journals. And since RPG journals get counted in the total number, they should be counted in the number of fannish journals as well.

It's already got 20,000 members. Sure, that's a small portion of 13 million, but they still count! *hugs*

I agree with you. Whether or not the RPG journal is inactive or not, there is a lot of us who have paid for paid time for some of those inactive journals, which is revenue we didn't have to give to LJ. I joined that community earlier today with all of the journals that I own since fandom touches each and everyone of them.
