Fic Challenge (aka looking for a fic, though I'm not sure if one exists)

I'm looking for a fic where Xander and Angel compete for Spike's love. Only Spike claims he doesn't want either of them because of whatever reason (maybe because he says he prefers girls, or he doesn't like them because of how they treated him)

Preferably one that ends with Xander and Angel deciding to share Spike. Spike himself can agree or disagree with this*g*

But it's very important that Xander and Angel are the ones fighting for Spike's attention. Spike can't be in love with Xander at the start of the fic, unless he's really in denial about it. I've just seen so many fics where Spike has to try and seduce Xander, that I really want to see one that goes the other way around.
Where Xander has to prove himself worthy of Spike's love.

Please NO m-preg, NO hyena, NO consorts, NO soldier, NO split personality for Xander, NO superpowered Xander.

Just regular canon Xander and Angel both having a thing for Spike.

My preference goes towards either chipped or souled Spike.
I adore good Spike and can't stand charbashing.(not even of the chars I despise like Willow)

Anyway, I know I'll probably not have much luck, but I thought I'd at least give it a try.

This sounds like it would make a fun fic. Have you tried asking in the community seeking_spike? It's a comm for finding specific Spike fics. Good luck!

And I like to think it would. Esp. since most S/A/X has Angel and Spike wanting Xander. Would be nice to have one where Spike's the centerpoint*g*

I hope someone suggests or writes this story -- I want to read it too! Actually, I'd probably be happy seeing _anyone_ trying to gain Spike's attention. :-) I usually tend to imagine it Spike/Andrew, just because Andrew's the only one I can believably see attempting to court Spike (not necessarily succeed, mind, but attempt!), when everyone else thinks they're above him. See either Xander or Angel try would be a nice change.

(Stopped by hoping for more of the Collared fic... would love to see that too.)
