Didn't say you were stupid, just that voting for Bush is stupid.
God, I honestly don't get why you'd want that man to ruin your country anymore than he's already done. I honestly just don't get it. I know you're not anti-gay, and I know you're not stupid, which is even more of a reason why I don't get it. It's like I said in my last post, I know intelligent people fooled by Bush and I just wish you'd take a real look at what Bush has actually done and is still planning to do, instead of simply thinking of him as the republican candidate.
Cause he's the kind of man I wouldn't even put in charge of desert, let out one of the most powerful countries in the world.
He's destroyed your economy, he's taking away women's rights, he's discriminating against an entire group of American citizens (more in specific homosexuals), he ignores the seperation between church and state and wants to hand your country over to conservative christians. And you still want him in charge cause he gives you some tax breaks? I just don't get that.
i don't think that bush-supporters are stupid, but i don't get it either. especially in the case of women and minorities. when i see a female or minority republican, my brain hurts from trying to comprehend it.
i wish i could read magz' entry, but alas. i'm not privy.
Yeah I know I didn't vote for him last time Liliaeth...still I can't comprehend why anyone would vote for the man...I know Kerry doesn't have an offical postion on anything...but he's the lesser of two evils and frakly that's good enough for me.
If you'd like another reason to not like him here's one. He's got plans on the table to reinstate the draft...this would include women. If he's reelected this process would be sped up.. Kerry's elected this may be delaied or not done..but don't you all think its rather convient that since the Bush girls got busted for underage drinking...which is a felony...they now can't be drafted...geting out of going to war just like thier daddy...doesn't it piss you off that the upper class kids are still special enough that they don't have to get thier hands bloody?
That link's flocked, but in any case, it's preaching to the choir as far as I'm concerned. I honestly do not think this country could recover from four more years of the same. And I suspect that if Bush is reelected, the rest of the world is really going to wash their hands of us. So far, I think the international community has to some extent been able to distinguish Bush from the American people. That wouldn't be the case in a second Bush term.
