Oh and I loved the "humans can be the biggest monsters" vibes and how John and Bobby had all their believes shaken but did accept that they had been wrong. (Bobby did and John is getting there). Great characterization for canon characters (well, Dean is too submissive but that's part of the AU).
I also liked your OC. Especially how you first lead us to believe that Willis was a scumbag and the more we read about him, the more we realized that he was less of a scumbag that some other guys and that he could even be a little decent (though not totally). He kinds of illustrate your whole story. We first believe there are bad guys but only to discover that those "bad guys" aren't quite that bad and the real monsters are humans. (not sure if I'm making sense, it's getting late)
