Just downloaded and watched the first ep of the Walking Dead on amc.

I have to say, it looked pretty good, not sure how much it matches the comics though, since I didn't start reading until much further on in the series.

Don't know if I could keep on watching though...
I don't mind zombies in small quantities, and I know the comic it's based on is really really good, but can I really keep watching a show that has 'the zombie apocalypse' as it's main premise?

I have zombiephobia so I'm not sure how much of the show I can watch, but I'm gonna try... Though I may have to give it up if it causes sleepless nights. *is easily rattled by movie monsters*

I haven't succumbed yet to watching the preair, but I did read the first few trades worth of the comic. It's not wall-to-wall zombie action, more of a human interaction story, so I'm hoping the TV show will be the same after the pilot.
