Don't know how I got so far on the libertarian side of things though, since I'm pretty pro-regulating the market and so on. I just don't feel that government should have any say in moral issues, since well, in a lot of cases, morality is something personal. And something that might be normal for me, might be offensive as hell to someone else.

Like they say, I may disagree like hell with what you're saying, but I'd give my life to defend your right to say it.

That's just libertarian socialism! It basically says the government shouldn't be authoritarian but the basic rights of people should be upheld and there are certain methods of regulation that can do that. I'm right there with you because I think people need to be protected from big business rather than our 'sins' since you can tell a company they can't pollute the water supply (and punish them if they do) but you can't legislate what a person does. It's basically the notion that people have the right to live their life in the way they see fit as long as it doesn't harm others.
