I'm not sure what to think about the 'my guest' option.

Sure, I wouldn't mind knowing how many people visit my journal and stuff like that. But I'm not so sure if I need to know the names of people visiting.

It seems... too much.

I just set my privacy setting on invisible. Not so much for myself, I don't care what people find out about me, but I'm not comfortable with getting the info on others.

seems like it, it basically allows you to track who's visiting your lj. You know, unless they have themselves set on private.
