In all the crap, there's only one possibly positive point.
Considering that one of the main reasons people had trouble writing him in slash-pairings, is that he's happily married, it seems to me that we should be getting a lot more Spider-Man slash after this.
Hell, anything's better than all the Young Avenger slash you have to wade through to get to some Spidey-fic*eg*
