Oh yes, I've been so excited about this, I almost forgot to post it here...
(and yes, I admit it, I keep asking the same question, the problem is that they haven't suitably dealt with it in the comics yet, so we have to keep their attention on it, right?)

When Spider-Man was first unmasked I was really hoping for stories of people dealing with finding out that Spidey was just a regular guy underneath the mask. Yet aside of PAD's Friendly, most of the Spidey comics seem to be ignoring that part of the storyline. (even though it's the most interesting part of the unmasking) Is there any chance to have more responses from people dealing with Peter being Spider-Man, rather than just having more villains and cops attacking him now?

JQ: Despite the fact that there are three dedicated Spider-Man titles every month, Liliaeth , there are only so many stories you can get to every month - and some of what sees print depends on the particular interests of the writers involved. Nevertheless, we've seen members of Peter's old supporting cast dealing with the revelation in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Sensational Spider-Man, and will continue to do so as time goes on. Also, Editor Warren Simons wanted to add his own point of view as well. Warren, you have the floor.

Warren Simons: Hi Liliaeth, Sensational Spider-Man # 28 by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Clayton Crain deals almost exclusively with one of Peter's students - Jordan Harrison - learning that his very own biology teacher is also the Sensational Spider-man. It's one of my favorite books that I've edited since working at Marvel, and I think you'd like it.

We've covered a lot of ground with Peter over the past year or so in Sensational, and the Peter Parker: Civil War trade that just came out deals almost entirely with how his friends, family, and enemies have reacted to his unmasking. And not to hawk too much in one response [laughs], but check out the Spider-Man Annual by Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca if you want to see how bad it can get for a superhero with a public identity and no trust fund to speak of…
