In an AU world where vampires are captured and controlled, zookeeper Rupert Giles, decides to get a vampire pet for his own personal use... Unfortunately the zoo will only give him one option, the misbehaving vampire Hostile 17. Giles becomes the vampire's last chance, for if the vampire fails to submit to his new owner, he will most likely be sent to the Initiative labs for animal experimentation.

Can Giles bring the vampire to heel and save him from a fate worse than death?
