Agreed.

I mean, I even like Sterek as a fun kinda completely ridiculous ship... and the reason it's fun and ridiculous is because it IS bizarre, weird, and twisted.

But when I watch the show, I watch a show about a teenage boy, named Scott, becoming a leader and learning to build a family and look after his friends... and I get really really sick of the fans who rate episodes based on how many scenes Derek and Stiles have together, and acting as though Davis somehow owes it to them to have their ship become canon just because they yell the loudest.

Okay, ending rant now, before I get too...ranty.

Ugh, exactly.

I really really hate the cries of homophobia too - because you also see them making that accusation about the show in general for the reason why Sterek isn't canon (you know, rather than the reason being that the ship has never made any sense)... but what that accusation really points out is how narrow-minded those fans are. Because Teen Wolf HAS a canon gay couple, it's just not the one they want.

But yeah...Scisaac has way more bases in canon. If they hadn't introduced Kira (who I really like) and pushed the Scott/Kira ship (Scira?), I'd totally be routing for a Scott/Allison/Isaac threesome.

I love the hints that Stiles might be bisexual, but not because of Sterek reasons, but because I think there needs to be more bisexual characters on TV... if Scott were bisexual, I'd be just as excited... hence my love for the Scisaac elements in S2 and 3b.

Now, don't get me wrong, if over the course of future seasons, Stiles and Derek's dynamic eventually changes enough that a romance could seem possible, then fine... but as of right now, it remains a bizarre, weird, and twisted ship, as Posey said.

I mean, honestly, it has to be SO INFURIATING for all of them, to be working so hard on the show, to be trying to make it as great as they can and EVERYTHING about the show, even in the supposedly professional media, boiling down to Sterek. The reaction to every episode: "Not enough Sterek." or "When is Sterek going to be canon?"

I honestly don't care what people want to ship in fandom, I ship just about everything, but THE SHOW IS NOT ABOUT STEREK. Stop insulting everyone who works on it, including Hoechlin and O'Brien, but especially Posey by erasing EVERYTHING that's actually IN THE SHOW.
