Day 28 - First TV show obsession
Trying to think of any show that really was an obsession. And I'd have to go with Highlander. I remember once when I was working on a project for school with a classmate and leaving there on time, because I absolutely wanted to be home on time to watch an ep. (I also lost half my notes on the way home and ended up having to drive back to go find them, but that's beside the point)
Day 29 - Current TV show obsession
Supernatural. Dean is my obsession. I love him and can't wait to read more about him. It's a rare thing to watch characters who are so broken yet keep on going without ever becoming incompetent.
Day 30 - Saddest character death
Not entirely sure. I think the one death that affected me the most was Spike's in Chosen. Even knowing he was going to be back on Angel the next season, there was this sense of brokenness in him. The fact that no one, other than Buffy, maybe, even seemed to mourn him. It wasn't so much his death, as the fact that no one of the people he died to save seemed to give a damn about his sacrifice. (in face, mere moments past his death they were already taking credit for saving the world, when they had little or nothing to do with it)
Spike's death became even sadder in the following season when you could feel that no one had mourned him. (I usually don't like Andrew, but his reaction in Damaged, of hugging Spike and showing clear happiness to see him alive almost endared him to me. Spike so needed a hug at that point and it was nice to see someone give it to him, even if it was Andrew.
